Family Dollar through 7/27
Family Dollar has a new program called "Family Dollars" where you earn reward dollars on certain purchases. It is similar to the CVS Extra-Care program.
There is a limit of one of each "Family Dollars deal" per transaction.
The current listing of "Family Dollars" deals are listed here. The Family Dollars terms and conditions can be found here and their coupon policy here.
I have not done these deals yet and do not know what the "Good until" date is on the Family Dollars coupons but these are my plans. I'm assuming you will not be able to use these the same day like you can at CVS or Walgreens.
3 Jello Pudding = $3 $3 FD (Family Dollars) = Free
3 Kraft Barbecue Sauce @ 1.25 = 3.75 with $3 FD = .25 each
2 Clairol Balsam Hair Color @ 3 = $6. Use $5/2 from 7/7PG and pay $1 $2FD = $1 MM
I plan to repeat these several times and if nothing else use them towards laundry soap before the $3/3 Tide coupons from 7/7PG expire.
Happy Couponing!!!

Dollar General 7/21/2013
I spent a few minutes walking through Dollar General last week while I was waiting for the washer to finish at the Laundromat. I seen quite a few deals and chose Dollar General as my first attempt to kick up the old couponing motor. Everything went just as expected.
Unfortunately, the milk/cereal deal ended on Sunday but the other deals still exist.
Cheerios are priced as $2.50 per box. Milk is $2.75/gallon which is cheaper than most anywhere around here. There was a deal in the ad where you saved $3 when you bought 2 boxes of cereal and a Gallon of milk. I used 2 50-cent coupons from the 7/14SS off the Cheerios. Total I paid $3.75 for 2 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk. Not bad for no doubling/tripling.
Head and Shoulders has a 2-in-1 bottle (8oz or so) for $2.50. Combined with the $2 coupon from the 7/7PG made it .50 per bottle. The bottle is small but since I use this, it was worth it for me.
The Premium Rounds Saltines are priced at $2.25. With the $1 off from the 7/14SS, I paid $1.25 for each box.
The Always Pantiliners 20ct were $1 and with the $1 coupon from the 7/7PG, they were free.
I spent $12.00 and saved $22.00 for a savings of 64.71%
I will not be uploading pictures for a few days but hope to start soon.
I'm back!
After about an 18-month hiatus from couponing, this chick is back! I have relocated from the piney woods of east Texas to near Galveston. The stores here are plentiful and couponing is actually worth it for me again. I have closed my website and opened this blog now. Eventually, I might reclaim my web address and become "The Coupon Broker" again.
Give me a few days to get everything posted here like the coupon policies, couponing 101, etc.
Happy Couponing!!!!!
